The ABC International School provides education to students from K-13, which includes those from 2–18 years old. Established in 1995, the school currently has enrolled approximately 700 students from thirty-seven nations in the world including Viet Nam. The ABC international school is a multi-national school, where 95% of the students are Asians.

78% of the teachers come from Ireland and Britain; with others are coming from New Zealand, Australia, Philippines , China and France. By the beginning of the academic year 2008/09 the school's teachers could possibly increase to 70.
By the academic year of 2009/2010, a total of more than 900 students have enrolled for the program. The school encourages students to speak English. The main purpose for this proposal is to improve the level of English for most students as a whole, to prepare them for the future by improving their ability to communicate with people internationally .
Besides the result of achievement in academic, teacher also awards student house points for their particular positive attitudes toward their efforts, progression, artworks and their surrounding community. The house points are recorded every week, the competition's also held every week between the houses. Individual competition awarded with particular certificates when students achieved a certain amount of housepoint. 50 housepoints students were given a Bronze award, whilst 100 for Silver and 150 for Gold. Platinum awards were also awarded to those who receive 250 housepoints, where the prize is awarded at the end of the academic year.
The school ground is divided in different group of students. It's holding three campuses in Ho Chi Minh city, one at 28 Truong Dinh street, district 3 which is specialized in givin education to students from Kindergarten to Year 2. The other two campuses are located in Trung Son area,not far off from the residential area of Phu My Hung. One campus is also for students from Kindergarten to Year 2, the other is built two years earlier, only available to Ks2- Ks5's students.
After completing year 9, similarly to the British National Curriculum. Students take their 2 years of IGCSE and the other 2 years of A Level. Even though there were suggestions for the school to give qualification to IB, however the idea was rejected by a series of reasons.
ABCIS regularly takes part in inter-school matches with other international schools in Ho Chi Minh. The school is also involved in the annual Federation of British International Schools in South East Asia, a festival of sport and music.
